Going to the market is good, but why is everything in plastic bags instead just in the cardbox. I am from Europe and actually this is not even allowed anymore in Europe .I take everything out of the plastic wrapper . I do not understand why Americans are so wasteful . Even those coffees -everything is throw away . 35 years ago I went to the grocery store and I was looking for eggs - free range ,and the guy looked at me like I am crazy. America is so wasteful - it bothers me . I want that my daughter still has some quality in life - plastic trash is every where -even in wales or dolphins. i wonder how much worse it has to get until people wake up. My input (as someone who has dedicated my life to my higher educational pursuits) if doing this hybrid program makes you excited, do it. Do it. Or do it in two+ years if that's what works better with your work schedule, I waited 3 years more than I originally planned to start my masters. But nevertheless, DO IT. It doesn't matter how old you are when you start, if it sets you on fire then it will be worth it. You've said having children is something you want, I know people who are finishing medical school and are pregnant or new mother's, yes it's incredibly hard but it's possible. It's your life and don't miss out on something you'd regret not doing. Being a wife and mother is great if that's what you want, but pursuing that true passion in you will never be something you regret in the long run. This life is YOURS, your passions matter, you do not need to give up on this for the other roles you think you have to fill

Oh wow Michel that’s a big thing! I love that it really does feel like it’s perfectly made for you. You of course have to do what’s best for you. I wonder if more one day vlogs might helps ease the work load a little. I think if you can make it work having a PA that can filter emails, edit shorts and reels maybe even help with some household stuff etc definitely weigh up all the options however ridiculous they sound because what sound ridiculous in one minute can be talked through and seem much more doable in another. Hi Michel, I have a question, and you have probably thought about this and may just be choosing not to share with us--I totally understand if that's the case. I was just wondering what the end goal/purpose of having this culinary education and possibly a degree is for you? Would you ever consider a business venture that would require this kind of knowledge base down the line, or is it just for fun? I think that's what I'm wondering. I can relate as a fellow foodie and I have always thought it would be a fun bucket list experience to go to culinary school, but I have had to accept that it just has not been the right time in life to do that yet. I have an autoimmune disease as well and unfortunately in order to thrive and not burn out we must say no to certain things in order to say yes to others. The right thing at the wrong time is still the wrong thing. So I guess that's the big question: is it the right time, right thing? Excited to see what you'll choose.

Hi Michel! How many times per week do you go to Pilates?

After watching you for a few years, I hope it’s OK to share some thoughts. Something I heard many years ago always comes back to me… “you can have everything you want in life, just not all at the same time”. If your body has been telling you to slow down, listen to it. If you give it what it needs now, it’ll give you what YOU need later. This program will always be there in 2 years, 10 years, after you have kids. Maybe there will be better opportunities in the future. Hit pause for a bit and enjoy your new home and marriage as this time will never come back. After you have kids, you may feel more of a need for me time and things that bring you joy. Maybe then culinary school will be what you need. Wish you the best on your journey ❤

Eating stinging nettles? I didn’t know you could….but it is used for medicinal purposes by the Tlingits in Alaska…..I used to get those welts all over me running through patches as a kid. Or picking berries, they are every where in a temperate rainforest.

We call those Parisian Carrots, I grow tons of them in my garden in Southern Illinois.

HaHa! I just spent the morning, here in the NC mountains, foraging for Nettles off of my land! I saute' them in olive oil with a little garlic and fresh ground pepper. Delicious! I'm going to use part of it to make Gnocchi ( substitute nettles for spinach in the recipe)! It's exciting to see you talk about ramps and nettles They both grow wild here!
